There are 3 essential elements to improving performance
Curiosity-
Once a prospect knows what you do they get to decide if they want/need to call you back. However if they are curious about what you do and who you are your odds increase dramatically.
Reciprocity-
Effective prospectors know to give a prospect the sense that “someone has really gone the extra mile to get my attention”, and that notion will create a need to reciprocate with a returned call.
Credibility-
In world where our differentiators seem the same it’s difficult to gain credibility with a prospect by leading with what we do or leading with our tools and resources. We have recognized sales people gain early credibility by clearly articulating WHO they work with. Who is that specific ideal buyer type that can most benefit from what you know.
When you combine all three of these effective prospecting elements your results will begin to change overnight.
